Dear Cure Mito Community,
The Cure Mito Foundation is now accepting proposals from researchers and medical professionals interested in participating in a two-day in-person workshop focused on advancing research and treatment strategies for Leigh syndrome.
We’re seeking individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in this field. The workshop will aim to develop a comprehensive roadmap for initiating clinical trials and preparing for future research efforts and potential therapies.
Workshop Objectives

Identify immediate priorities and strategies to accelerate the launch of clinical trials

Outline long-term research goals and treatment approaches

Foster collaborative relationships
Proposal Requirements
Please submit a brief proposal (1–2 pages) including:

A short essay describing your interest and relevant expertise

How you plan to contribute to the workshop’s objectives

Any prior experience with similar initiatives

Your experience promoting inclusive dialogue across diverse backgrounds and perspectives, particularly those of patients and caregivers

Your CV and disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest

Cost
Travel and accommodations will be fully covered.
